On behalf of the Institute of Ecology and Botany at the HUN-REN Centre for Ecological Research, the Institute of Wildlife Management and Nature Conservation at the Hungarian University of Agricultural and Life Sciences, and the Hungarian Ecological Society, we cordially invite you to the XIVth "Advances in the Research of Flora and Vegetation of the Carpathian Basin" international conference.
The event will take place from February 1st to 3rd, 2024, at the MATE Szent István Campus, located at 1 Páter Károly Street, Gödöllő.
The "Advances in the Research of Flora and Vegetation of the Carpathian Basin" conference series was initiated in 1997 and has since become one of the most significant events in the field of botany and nature conservation within Hungary, gaining increasing international recognition in recent years.
The conference's objectives are as follows:
- To provide a comprehensive overview of the latest field botany research in the Carpathian Basin, including floristics, taxonomy, vegetation research, coenology, plant ecology, conservation, landscape ecology, ethnobotany, the study of traditional ecological knowledge, and the history of science.
- To facilitate professional discourse among researchers working on the flora and vegetation of the Carpathian Basin.
